Days Inn by Wyndham Buffalo WY

We only needed a bed for the night while passing through, and the beds were very comfortable, our main priority. The room was clean overall, though the bathroom smelled of urine. We arrived around 10:30 p.m., and the gentleman at the desk was professional and very nice. We asked for one bed but were given two. Breakfast was average, nothing special, though there was plenty to eat for just us. At checkout, a child who looked about seven was serving us and didn’t know how to print a receipt, so the housekeeper came in after a short wait and sorted it out. For a place to sleep, it wasn’t too bad.

The manager was very nice, and the free breakfast was okay, pretty typical of a Days Inn. We stopped for a night on the way from Yellowstone to Mt Rushmore. The room was clean. The bed felt a little firm to me, though that seemed typical. The shower head was set quite low, fine if you’re five feet tall, but the water pressure was good. Not a bad place to stop overnight.

The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was clean and reasonably priced compared with the local competition. The staff were welcoming and very nice. When we checked in around 6 p.m., most of the town’s places to eat were already closed, which is expected in a small town. There was a Taco John's, Pizza Hut, Subway, and McDonald's nearby. The room was a little worn. The floor creaked with every step, and we found a light switch that didn’t work. The mustard colored walls looked like they were from the seventies, though the dim lighting made them less distracting.

The manager was friendly and helpful when we told him about an issue we’ve been having with our vehicle. This is a nice little motel, pet friendly, though there isn’t much space for pets to do their business. The room was clean and satisfactory. Breakfast was great, with waffles, pastries, sausage, eggs, pancakes, fruit, oatmeal, coffee, and bread.
