I contacted the manager on 9/30/25, copied multiple employees, and still never received a response. It’s now December. I don’t usually like writing negative reviews, and this place has so much potential, but the wedding experience at the Foundry was deeply disappointing. I’ve worked in catering sales and spent 10+ years in hospitality management, and I’m easygoing. Still, the lack of preparation and professionalism from event coordinator Michael fell far below what was promised. Communication was a constant struggle, and I had to manage and confirm details myself. On the wedding day, I hired someone from my own team because I couldn't rely on Michael to handle things. At our walkthrough two days before the wedding, a train passed the venue while Michael said he hadn't known trains went by. The train disrupted the ceremony schedule. The top of our wedding cake was ruined under his supervision. He also knew we chose the courtyard for its handicap accessibility, but didn't tell us that only part of it was accessible because of the multiple levels. We signed in winter and couldn't properly see the courtyard beforehand, so this was a major oversight. Our hotel suite hadn't been inspected before check-in. It was dated and in unacceptable condition, with broken handles, exposed TV cords dangling, and visible bug traps. There was no stay-over service during our wedding night, and we didn't stay after all. We packed up and left. The lack of attention and care made what should have been a joyful occasion feel like a letdown. After signing, I learned Michael had a poor reputation, which sadly proved true. The catering staff who worked the event were the bright spot: kind, efficient, and fantastic. I especially wish I'd gotten the name of the young man with glasses, who was an absolute star and deserves recognition. I expect a formal response, an explanation of how these issues will be addressed to spare other couples the same experience, and how this will be corrected. I trusted the venue with one of the most important days of my life.

My daughter's homecoming was such a nice event, and the decor looked amazing. The Foundry Suites is beautiful and has plenty of space.

We didn't stay at the hotel, but the venue made for a memorable event. The room felt magical, and there was plenty of space, including two rooms. While we waited for the bride and groom, the appetizers and drinks were excellent. Servers circulated with fresh, plentiful appetizers in an interesting variety, and the tables were set with tasty cheese, crackers, and fresh fruit, arranged beautifully. The main course was outstanding too. The salad looked picture perfect, with cold romaine, a lovely dressing, a Parmesan crisp, and Parmesan shavings. Lemon chicken and filet mignon were wonderful. The potatoes were delicious, like a scalloped potato pie with an interesting puff pastry crust, and the fresh vegetables were crisp but tender. I highly recommend the place.

Dan was the best coordinator I could have asked for. He kept everything moving behind the scenes and made sure the day went off without a hitch. We had our wedding here on 2/24/24, and the gorgeous venue and phenomenal staff made the whole experience better than I could have hoped for. Everything ran smoothly and was arranged just how I wanted.

The venue looks gorgeous, with a beautiful outdoor center area and a rustic but modern interior. The rooms are spacious and look great, and the food was good, though some was really undercooked before they remade it. Employees were attentive overall, but a few acted oddly. Some got too close, bumped into guests, and pushed past without saying excuse me, which I didn't like.
