The Edward Hotel

A great experience, and I’d stay again. The place is unique, adorable, clean, and cozy. Check-in at the main door and room door felt safe and secure, and communication for arrival and departure was great. The lot is small and first come, first served, but parking there is free, and street parking is free too. It’s a handy spot if you're going to an event at the Key Bank Center.

The Edward made for a great weekend stay. I prefer a boutique hotel to a big chain, and this one really delivers, with pretty decor, comfortable beds, a wonderful shower, and a huge TV. It was very affordable too. You won't be disappointed.

The only real drawback was that the walls seemed thin, so we could sometimes hear other guests in their rooms. Otherwise, The Edward was a great place to stay in Buffalo. The house and rooms are beautifully decorated and clean, and self check-in was easy. There's no front desk, but you can text a representative whenever you need something. A free parking lot sits right beside the building, with cute cafes and shops in walking distance and downtown Buffalo a 5-10 minute drive away. They include a lot of things other hotels charge for, like room fireplaces, streaming services, a microwave, snacks, and parking.

So many thoughtful touches made me feel valued at The Edward. I arrived late and realized I'd forgotten dental floss, then found a new pack in the bathroom first aid kit, along with a travel toothbrush wrapped and ready to use. Soft cotton towels, comfortable chairs, and a fridge were nice to have too. The room and building are filled with gorgeous art, and the calming colors add to the peaceful feeling. There were books and games, very good coffee, tea, snacks, and a giant TV with every streaming option imaginable. The bed was super comfortable, and the place was extremely clean. I may never go back to a big chain hotel.
