I needed a place for the night and booked here. The room was very clean, though the shower door wouldn’t close all the way. The staff were great, especially the overnight front desk employee, who helped me check out. I’d definitely stay here again.

The location was good, but that’s about all this place had going for it. The rooms were filthy, and we had to call down several times about the faulty AC. Sherri was nice and helpful, and they should all be like her. Sean, on the other hand, was hostile and acted like it was unreasonable to expect working AC. In all my years staying in hotels, he’s the second worst I’ve encountered. The mattresses were awful, felt over a decade old, had no support, and drove the springs into my back. All four of us had the same problem across two rooms. We were hot and uncomfortable. We planned to stay here again on the way back, but canceled and went to the Hyatt Studios about two miles down the road instead. The room and service there were amazing, at the same rate.

Tru did a great job with breakfast: eggs, sausage, pancakes, oatmeal, bagels, and other bread. The coffee was excellent, at least for me since I like it strong. We had a quiet, comfortable room with a king bed, and everything was very clean. The bathroom’s wall dispensers for soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion kept the surfaces neat. Great value.

The beds were very comfortable, and the room had a smart TV. It was clean, though on the small side, and we kept nearly bumping into things as we walked around. Breakfast was decent, with eggs, sausage, and pancakes, but the choices were limited: just everything and cinnamon raisin bagels, and wheat toast. The hotel is right by the highway and about seven minutes from Buc-ees. For the price, it was a good deal.
