The Mansion Motel

We rented 3 rooms for six of us on a motorcycle trip, and the rooms were clean and well cared for. We'd been riding in the rain and were drenched when we arrived. The owners gave us a laundry basket for our wet clothes and dried them for us. They also moved their truck so we could park our motorcycles under the overhead awning. They're very friendly and go out of their way to make the stay go well. We'll definitely be back. Bonus, their cat Norman is welcoming and likes to hang out with guests.

I liked the decor's charm and character, especially compared with the standard chain motel rooms that all look alike and make you pause to remember which town you're in. A screen door on the room and chairs on the porch made it feel homey. The room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. We loved it and will absolutely stay again as we pass through Wyoming every couple of years.

We stayed at Mansion House in 1994 on our way to Yellowstone, in a very small upstairs room in the main house with its own bath. The owners were great. When a hail storm came through, they let us park our new car under the awning. It was an experience and a memory we'll never forget. I'm so glad the Chain Hotels along the hwy were full and a receptionist told us about this place. We hope to stay there again when we return to Wyoming.

We came to Buffalo for our anniversary and the music jam at the Occidental, and this is a great motel for a night downtown. We could walk everywhere. Check-in was easy and contact-free, the room was clean and spacious, the king size bed was comfortable, and the towels were nice and fluffy. Highly recommend!
