The hosts were wonderful and happy to share advice about the area. The rooms were immaculate, the beds comfortable, and breakfast was tasty and just the right size. The homemade granola was a treat, too. We stayed four nights on our trip to New York, and the inn is ideally placed for Provincetown, with an easy short walk into town or to the beach. Thanks for having us. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Joe and Steve made the Atlantic Light feel easy to settle into. They were friendly without hovering, helpful without pushing, and knew the area well. Their restaurant and sightseeing tips were great, and they had a relaxed warmth that seemed to put the other guests at ease, too. I even counted the mornings by which scone would be waiting. The generous breakfast spread was fresh and lovely, with home-baked breads, cookies, and scones. We chose Room One without seeing it first, drawn by the reviews, good price, parking, bike rack, and the breakfast. It was a great fit, with its own entrance, private deck, big bathroom, and cozy bedroom. The inn was full during our five days, but we still had plenty of privacy and sometimes felt like we were the only ones there. The rooms each seem to have their own charm. From the photos, other rooms have things like a fireplace, deck, or skylight. The inn is less than a block from Commercial St, but turning onto Pearl takes you into a quiet residential area that feels far from the crowds and lights of mid August Provincetown. You’re close to the shops and restaurants, and well placed for the Province Land bike trails through Cape Cod National Seashore Park, from Herring Cove to Race Point. We also checked out the Pilgrim monument and PTown library, saw a film at Waters Edge Cinema, tried Mexican food at Lorraines, and splurged at the Red Inn and the Mews. There are options for both shared time and privacy. You can eat with other guests at the dining room table or relax in the living room, or sit at the smaller tables on the front deck. There’s also a shared patio for sunbathing or reading. I almost hesitate to share this best kept secret in PTown, but the Atlantic Light Inn is too good not to recommend to anyone looking for a place in Provincetown.

Joe and Steve really go above and beyond. The accommodations are beautiful, breakfast is a fantastic continental spread every day, and the location in Provincetown is just right.

We came back for a second stay and loved our room. The whole place is clean, updated, and nicely decorated. Joe & Steve are really nice, and it’s a relaxing place to stay.

This charming, welcoming inn was in a central location, and we enjoyed our stay a lot. I’d gladly recommend it.
