PET OWNERS BEWARE!!!!! We booked this place through the BringFido website two months ahead, since we travel with our two dogs. Their site calls the resort pet-friendly and even shows a black and yellow labrador retriever swimming in the lake. When I called today to confirm, the owner asked how big our dogs were. I told her our female is about 56 pounds and our male is a big boy, just under 100 pounds. She said we couldn't stay because she has a NO DOGS OVER 50 POUNDS rule. I pointed out that the resort website doesn't mention a pet weight limit. She said, "that's not my problem, I am canceling your reservation," then hung up on me. This was the worst customer service I've ever had in my life! As of 06/12/2026.

We were in room number nine this week for spring break. It’s upstairs on the corner, with a beautiful view. The resort is already lovely, and the new owners are in the middle of a major remodel. We met them and can’t wait to see how it turns out. We’ll be back.

The kitchenette was wonderful, and everything was very clean. We had a perfect stay in a convenient spot, with a peaceful, quiet setting and clear skies. From the porch, the view across the whole valley and lake is lovely. I’d certainly recommend it. Enjoy!

Brenda was a delight. She thoughtfully sent us a list of things to do nearby. The resort is tucked into a little neighborhood that seems to be privately owned homes, with respectful folks around. A friendly gentleman even waved while mowing his lawn. It’s quaint, quiet, and convenient, within walking distance of several attractions and restaurants. Ten out of ten, I loved it.

Family-owned quirky motels have grown on me, and this was a great example. The property is clearly well cared for, and my room was clean and comfortable. I did have one concern: the doors don’t have physical locks like deadbolts. Otherwise, I enjoyed the stay. Having a real coffee maker in the room was a big bonus.
