Hotel Burbank

I’ve stayed here twice. It’s quiet, staff are nice, and there are shops and restaurants within walking distance, but the beds are absolutely horrid. They’re like sleeping on springy cardboard, and the pillows feel like sandbags. I wake up with sore shoulders and back and have a hard time getting proper sleep. Maybe that’s easier to overlook for a one-night stay, but it matters to me. The rooms feel old and outdated. The bathroom sink is cracked, the drapes are old, and the hotel could use renovations, especially to the bedding. Even a memory foam or feather topper would make sleeping better. It’s not the worst place, but it needs improvement. Please invest in mattresses. People spend their hard-earned money here and deserve to be comfortable.

The Fireside room worked perfectly for our professional conference, with 35 attendees in person and 42 joining by video. The sales, catering and IT teams went above and beyond. Breakfast, snacks and lunch arrived on time, there was plenty, and it all tasted good. Thirteen people stayed overnight and said their rooms were great. The hotel shuttle was a nice extra, and the pool and gardens were lovely. I’m very glad I chose this property. It’s a great location for a meeting.

Customer service deserves a mention when it’s this good. Ivette was so nice and polite, and Karla was professional and helpful. The food was great too. I was very satisfied with my stay. Thank you!

I only stayed because my agency arranged and paid for it. Personally, I wouldn’t come back or feel comfortable bringing my family. The property needs a major renovation to reach basic comfort and maintenance standards. The place feels outdated and worn throughout, and the room smelled musty. The mattresses squeaked and felt unstable, making it hard to rest. Much of the furniture and cabinetry looked like it was deteriorating. Even the bedside lamp’s power outlets didn’t work. The carpet was extremely old and heavily worn, clearly overdue for replacement. The toilet was unusually low, uncomfortable and almost unsafe to use.
