Getting engaged in Burlington made this trip unforgettable, and we’d love to return every year if we can. 254 South Union Street Guest House will be our first choice. We spent five days and six nights there for a much-needed vacation, our first fun getaway in years. Neither of us had visited Burlington before, though we’d camped in Vermont when we were younger, and we both love New England. The room was simple, elegant, and romantic, just right for us. It was too cold and rainy to enjoy the porch or patio most days, but the gardens and flowers were still beautiful and in bloom. Bill welcomed us at the door and carried our bags upstairs. He was a big help with food recommendations, and we loved the dogs, even though we didn’t see him or his wife very often. Five stars, absolutely.

The hosts were really kind and worked with my last-minute needs after my flight was canceled. The rooms were nicely decorated and felt more like staying at a friend or relative’s home than in a hotel. Both the bedroom and bathroom were very clean, with the essentials there if needed. I’m still thinking about how comfortable that bed was. I’ll stay again!

Bill was a great help and a fun person to talk with. I stayed in the Master's Bedroom, which looked fantastic and was spotless. The bed was comfortable, and the AC let us control the temperature. Even the bathroom plumbing stood out, especially the smoothest faucet ever. If you need somewhere to stay on a Burlington trip, 254 Guest House is a great choice.

The location was so convenient, just a few blocks from Church St Marketplace and the waterfront. My fiance and I stayed in the Lakeview Bedroom and had no complaints. We arrived around 12am, and Bill walked us from the front door to our room. It was clean and cozy. I’d love to come back if we’re in the area.

Bill and his dog Buddy were wonderful hosts, and we felt right at home. My family was there for my UVM graduation, and they let us have a small cookout. Bill and Cyndie were very responsive before we arrived. We rented two rooms, and I had a perfect graduation weekend. Highly recommend 254 South Union Street Guest House.
