La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Burlington

We come back at least four times a year when visiting family in Burlington because this is the cleanest, nicest affordable hotel around. During our January 2026 stay, we accidentally left a Samsung smart watch in a drawer. We didn’t realize until we were four hours away in Portland, Oregon. I called and explained it to Alondra at the front desk. She put me on hold, went up to our room herself, and retrieved it. A family member in Burlington picked it up for us. We’re so grateful to Alondra for going above and beyond. Thank you!

The staff made our two-week stay easier by accommodating us with a crib for our 1-year-old. We were comfortable in the double queen room, which worked well for staying longer. The continental breakfast was handy, and we enjoyed having an indoor pool and hot tub as extras. We had a solid experience at this La Quinta, and it suited our family’s needs.

The pool was the main reason I booked, along with breakfast, but it stayed unavailable for my entire visit. For the price, I could have chosen from many other rooms for much less. Unless you check before booking, you may not learn until you arrive that something you wanted is out of service. If you need an accessible room, make sure the one you book is actually available too. This was a terrible, unenjoyable stay.

The hot tub was closed, but the pool was nice. This is a pet-friendly place with plenty of dogs to meet and pet, yet it didn’t look or smell like a pet hotel. Our room and the surrounding area were clean, breakfast was good, and the staff were super nice. A great choice when you’re in Burlington.
