Super 8 by Wyndham Burlington

The new hard plank floors that look like wood were a plus, and the blankets and sheets were good. The bathroom sink was new too. Breakfast included waffles, bagels, yogurt, fruit, and cereal. The rest was disappointing for $180. The pillows were small and had no firmness; the extra ones we requested felt stuffed with towels. Shower pressure was average, the bathroom fan didn't work, and there was water damage on the ceiling. At around $75 it would've been fine, but for what we paid, it wasn't worth it. It is very close to the casino, though.

After moving to Burlington for a job, I was getting really worried about where to stay until I found The Super 8. My room was clean and had what I needed for an extended stay, and the front desk told me about the weekly rates right away. They also welcomed my puppy for a set fee, so I didn't have to give him up. I liked the continental breakfast, which weekly guests can have too. I'm Black, and I've never been treated badly by the staff, despite seeing a review that said a Black guest had a negative experience. The people who bought the hotel are amazing and incredibly helpful. I explained my situation, and everyone went out of their way to help my family. I also saw a complaint about pets and allergies. They have rooms where pets haven't stayed. I used to work at a hotel, so I see it differently, and I know it's hard to make everyone happy. I watched them accommodate people with very little thanks. The new owners took over from the previous owner and have been renovating every room with brand new everything, while keeping the prices affordable and exactly the same. If I need a hotel again, I'll go straight back. To the owners, front desk, and housekeeping, thank you for always going above and beyond for my family. Being kind will always get you further in life.

The room was really clean and everything looked good. The front desk receptionist was helpful and nice, and the location was convenient for the places I needed to reach, near stores and gas. I'd definitely stay again if I needed to.

I stayed for three and a half months and absolutely loved it. The front desk and hotel staff were friendly, and I couldn't have asked for a better stay. This is a great hotel, and I'll be back very soon.
