Green Gables Motel & Suites

The full kitchen and the little sitting area out back made the two bedroom suite comfortable. It was cozy and clean, and the location was perfect for Burney Falls. The hotel was quiet and not crowded on a weekday. Seeing that the premises were monitored at check-in made me feel safe. I enjoyed staying here.

We often look for inexpensive places to sleep while we're wandering around, and those budget spots can look pretty worn out. This one was clean, very nice, and well maintained. The woman who checked us in was friendly and kind, which you don't always find. There was a bar and grill straight across the street, so we didn't need to drive around for food. Another winner. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a small kitchen area. The shower is tiny, though the rest of the bathroom has enough room. Staff were friendly, and checking in was quick and easy. You can arrange a later check-in if you call ahead, and there's plenty of parking. Better than I expected.

The staff were wonderful, and they had complimentary water, coffee and pastries in the office. Our double queen room had clean, cozy beds, and there was plenty of space for our luggage. The beds were comfy; the shower was decent, though a bit short. Burney Falls is a 12-minute drive, with the outback steakhouse across the street, plus Julio's Grill and a Chinese restaurant. One odd thing, the second bed blocked half the bathroom entrance. We didn't mind since we only needed a room for the night, and the price wasn't too bad. (:
