OYO Silver Spur Burns Hwy 20

We got in late from out of state, and management was happy to work with us on what we needed. Our dog was excited to be there too. There are fairly strict rules posted in the rooms, and having them enforced made the place feel safer for everyone. The room was really nice, with three beds arranged so it never felt cramped. The beds were super comfortable and the location was pretty. One of the nicer places I've stayed in a while. Even for just one night, it was an amazing stay, and I'll definitely come back when I'm in Burns.

We were driving through on a 20-hour trip with the kids and a dog and needed a place to sleep for a couple of hours. I found this place around 1 AM and called. The manager answered and booked us a room right away, even though the office was closed. She was really helpful and nice, including when I contacted her later with a question. The heat was already on when we arrived, which was great for getting warm. It was one of the few places in the area that allowed dogs, and it'll be our stop whenever we travel through here from now on.

The main office was filthy, and the manager's dog jumped up on the counter while I was checking in. The manager had to reset the cable box, the shower stayed lukewarm, and the Coke machine was out of order. In general, the place needs a serious upgrade. This was the worst hotel experience of our travels over the last 12 months, and my last stay at a "Quality Inn".

A simple, renovated motel with clean rooms and very reasonable prices. Bring earplugs, though. Truck noise from the road carries loudly through the night, and I don't know how anyone could sleep without them. They should consider leaving a couple of pairs in the rooms. I'll definitely stay again.
