7 Gables Motel

The owner was so welcoming and friendly, and the pool is great. My wife and I have stayed at plenty of hotels on our travels, and this motel is a good one. The room was spotless, the TV worked, and the bed was warm and comfortable. The price is more than fair, and it's biker friendly too. I highly recommend The 7 Gables Motel.

The pool was pristine, better than most I've seen at bigger hotels, and my two dogs were welcome with plenty of room to stretch their legs. I stayed five days and liked having a great coffee shop right across the street, with space to work remotely or sit on the porch with a coffee. There's also a typical diner next door with good food. The staff are hands-off, so you can ask if you need anything and they'll help, but otherwise they leave you alone, which I prefer. It's quiet, clean, convenient, and dog friendly. I do think it's a little overpriced for what it is, but not by much. With a dog, it isn't overpriced at all, and it's cheaper than the Choice Hotels I usually book, so I didn't hesitate. There's space for trailers in the lot and beside the attached diner, which is currently empty, so it's a good spot for fishing trips. It's also well lit and felt safe for a motorcyclist traveling through.

The new owner was incredibly welcoming and accommodating when we checked in, having taken over just before our arrival. She also owns Branson’s Best hotel. Seven Gables is a clean, family-friendly place, and it's been updated and kept extremely clean. Don't overlook this smaller hotel. We'll definitely stay again, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the new owner makes it even better.

Whenever I come to Burnside Ky. to visit loved ones, this is a great place to stay. The folks are great to deal with, and I recommend it 100%.
