Tempo By Hilton Nashville Midtown

I’ve been traveling for nearly 20 years and am a Hilton Honors Diamond member, and this was one of my favorite hotels. The evening front desk team were welcoming, professional, friendly, and very helpful. Valet was just as good. Johnathan was prompt and took great care of my vehicle. I’ll definitely be back on my next Nashville trip.

My first concern is the air conditioning. It was nearly 80 degrees in Nashville, and there was no air in my room. The front desk said there were problems and moved me, but the second room was even hotter and the AC never came on. I packed everything a third time and had to walk across the street to stay at the Graduate. With a packed schedule of work events, the whole situation was incredibly stressful. I needed a cool room and had been clear about that. I felt they may have known none of the rooms had AC. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the hotel itself is beautiful. If they fix the AC, it could be a great place to stay. As a Diamond member, I was disappointed with how they handled the problem.

The peacock bookshelf is gorgeous, and the whole hotel is beautiful. Our room was spacious, and the bathroom was really nice. No complaints from me. We’ll stay here again when our son visits Vanderbilt in the fall.

Shonta at the front desk was kind and accommodating, and they let us check in early and leave late. The building and everything in it felt new, and the stay was comfortable. Vanderbilt campus is an easy walk away. I’d definitely stay again.
