Terrell House B&B

I was already thinking about when to come back before I’d even finished my week-long stay. Terrell House felt welcoming from the moment I walked in, and Mike and Sue were friendly and helpful the whole time. The house is nicely decorated and well kept, with several inviting shared spaces: a roomy living area, a pleasant breakfast room, and a covered patio looking out onto woods. My room was just as nice, and I appreciated the charging station on the nightstand. Breakfast had plenty of granola, fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice, and things to toast. Coffee from the Keurig and tea were available all day, along with little snacks that Sue and Mike left out for guests at other hours. One of the nicest places I’ve stayed.

Greetings, friends. I found Terrell House by chance, on my first visit here and only my third Bed and Breakfast stay. I have no connection with the place. It’s close to everything, and most of Burnsville is an easy walk away, yet it stays quiet. The hosts were humble and kind, and made a real effort to help. My room, Betty's Room, was immaculately clean and decorated in a lovely American style. It also had an extra air conditioner and heating unit. The linens made a big difference: the bed sheets were high quality with a high thread count, and I slept very well. The bathroom towels were good quality too and smelled great. The Internet was fast, and the price felt more than fair for the quality. I can’t recommend Terrell House enough. ❤️

A really comfortable room, with proper mattresses and pillows, and everything was spotless and nicely decorated. The hosts were great, with more thoughtful touches than I can list. Definitely five stars. If I’m ever back in Burnsville NC, I know where I’ll stay.

The rooms have their own decor and differ a bit in size, and ours was cozy, homey, and extra clean. We had access to a living room, TV room, a front porch with rocking chairs, and a beautiful patio outside, so it was a lovely place to unwind. The neighborhood is pleasant for a walk, and town is an easy stroll away. Susan and Mike were such hospitable hosts and pointed us toward little details around the area. Their suggestions led us to the farmers market and some great local restaurants. We were there to visit Asheville and Navitat Outdoor adventures. This quiet, quaint B & B made us feel right at home. Can’t wait to visit again!
