Budget Host Longhorn Motel

I was biking across the state and just needed somewhere to sleep, so this basic budget motel did the job. The room was clean, though pretty dated. It's super convenient, with a very good Mexican restaurant next door and a small market nearby.

There’s a beautiful garden with benches where guests can sit and relax, and plenty of parking if you’re driving a semi. The owner even walked out with us and helped us park safely close to the room. He has a huge heart and really cares for his guests. Our room was top notch, the bed was super comfortable, and the big spacious tub and bathroom bench made getting ready in the morning easy. From check-in through checkout, we had an amazing stay. I look forward to visiting again.

The owner went above and beyond when we arrived. It’s a cute, quiet, clean place, an older motel with no frills but kept in good shape. Great value for a good night’s sleep. Highly recommend!

There’s a little grocery store next door, plus a Mexican restaurant and a gas station, so everything you need is in one small area. This place has a classic feel, almost like stepping back in time, and I found its simplicity refreshing. It isn’t a luxurious five-star hotel with breakfast, but that wasn’t what I liked about it. The owner takes real pride in this small, super cute motel and keeps the old place in top shape. The rooms are so well kept and very clean, with clean walls and carpet. The AC units look pristine and new, the fridges were very clean and new, and the beds were so nice and warm. I’ll be back for sure.
