We had a really clean, quiet room, and both check-in and checkout were friendly. The service was excellent. At checkout, she asked whether anything could have made our stay better. We mentioned that a microwave in the room would help, since the eggs were kind of cold in the morning. Other than that, we enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in Byron, Georgia.

The place has been renovated, but the windows have no sheer blinds to let daylight in while keeping people from looking inside. The blinds are either up, leaving you exposed, or down, making the room completely dark. There are no closets, and there’s no washer or dryer either.

I didn’t know the Avid brand, though I recognized it was an IHG property. The room was great, comfortable, and had a nice shower. We stayed two nights just off the interstate, set back from the four-lane highway, and it was very quiet. The night staff were friendly and thorough, even when we checked in after midnight. If the other Avid hotels are like this, I’ve found a new chain to stay with.

The lobby felt fresh and very clean as soon as I walked in. The front desk staff member was young, friendly, and helpful, and both the lobby restroom and the rooms were clean. I was only at the hotel during the day while attending my goddaughter’s moving forward ceremony. I used to be a front office manager with the Starwood brand and a flight attendant, so I pay attention to the greeting at the desk and the condition of the lobby, elevator, restrooms, restaurant if there is one, and rooms. This hotel really impressed me. My family and I are fans now and will stay with this brand whenever we travel somewhere with this boutique hotel. Thanks for maintaining a high standard. I looked at the brand website, and it seems that quality is consistent across the board.
