Americas Best Value Inn Downtown Convention Center

09/18/21: The people upstairs were loud and ratchet, and folks kept walking past the room all night. I didn't feel safe. I stayed one night and checked out as soon as I could the next morning. I'd rather sleep in my car than stay here again, and next time I'll pay a little extra for somewhere clean and safe. The room itself was gross. The bed was only half made, and the sheets and towels looked dirty or stained. The carpet was dirty and stained too, with mold or mildew in parts of the bathroom. The bathroom was awful, and the A/C smelled disgusting. If you can, save yourself the trouble and book somewhere better.

It's rundown, dirty, and smells like mold or dirty cigarettes. There's no Wi-Fi, so good luck if you work remotely. Parking wasn't enough for the people actually staying there, either. By 8 a.m. the workers were banging around and screaming, and they were extremely disrespectful. Absolutely atrocious, I'd give it 0/5 if I could.

The room had a strange smell and reeked of pee. The heater smelled like burnt hair, there was trash under the bed, and the carpet was dirty. Both towels had dirt spots and old makeup stains, and the shower floor had dirty footprints from whoever stayed before. The sheets, towels, carpet, and shower were all filthy. There wasn't enough parking, and the price really wasn't worth it. I've stayed in motels much nicer than this. There have already been plenty of complaints about the dirty rooms, yet it seems nothing has been done. I don't know how this inn is still operating. I strongly don't recommend it. Save your money.

It's a cute little inn, but cleanliness really needs work. There were drops of blood all over the room, even on the supposedly clean towels. The microwave and fridge smelled awful, and the TV remote looked so nasty I washed it before using it. The room's deadbolt didn't work. Overall, I wasn't happy with how gross it was.
