Calistoga Inn Restaurant and Brewery

We came through on a road trip with our two dogs the weekend after Christmas and ate at the restaurant, though we didn’t stay at the Inn. They were kind enough to seat all of us indoors, which I hadn’t expected. The setting is lovely, with heated outdoor patios and fire pits as well as cozy indoor seating by the fireplace. Service was excellent, and the food was delicious. The gnocchi and sausage rigatoni were especially good, and the prosciutto pizza with its gluten free crust was fantastic. Prices felt moderate. We’d definitely recommend dining at Calistoga Inn.

That was a really enjoyable lunch in a beautiful setting. We sat outside, and the area was lovely. The food tasted good, the prices seemed reasonable, and the service was good too. Our only small surprise was the gnocchi: it was tasty, but had more vegetables than we expected, especially some kind of broccoli.

The restaurant was a nice part of our stay too. I had the ribeye, and you could cut it with a butter knife. Try it with the wine sauce. My son enjoyed his sausage rigatoni, and we both liked our drinks: I had the Banana Na Na and he had a beer. The room was really cute, and sharing a bathroom was no problem. I’d recommend this place again and again.

We were staying at Calistoga Hot Springs for a night and wandered on foot into the small downtown area to find somewhere to eat. The food was excellent, especially the funghi pizza and spaghetti. We’d definitely return next time we’re in town.
