Calistoga Wine Way Inn

The cozy, cute inn made for a great stay, and two things were highlights of our trip: breakfast at the local coffee shop and the complimentary wine tasting. We had an amazing experience and will definitely return.

I left Wine Way Inn feeling rested and grateful, and already wanting to return. It’s charming, spotless, and every detail feels cared for. The owners are such kind people, and you can tell they put a lot of love into making guests feel at home. It’s in a great spot for exploring Calistoga, and the price exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

Nick and Gillian checked in with us regularly and were helpful whenever we had questions. Our stay at Wine Way Inn was wonderful: the room was cozy and clean, and its location put everything we wanted in downtown Calistoga within a five-minute walk. The free breakfast voucher for the local Roastery was a generous touch, and breakfast was delicious. We had an amazing experience and would highly recommend the place.

The St Helena room was a good size, with a king bed, small bathroom, fridge, and chair. It was clean and nice, and we appreciated the bag of snacks and bottle of waters they left for us. There are stairs, so you carry your suitcase up, but that wasn’t an issue for us. Just be aware there’s no TV or AC. Opening the windows cools the room, but you hear the road, so summer may not be ideal. The room also has limited lighting and can be too dark for reading at night. There aren’t many AC outlets either. I unplugged the coffee maker to charge my phone. The lamps have USB-C plugs but not USB-A for newer phone charging cables. The front door can be tricky, so pull it toward you for the key to turn. On the plus side, there’s ample parking, the hotel is very close to restaurants and wineries, and free breakfast at a nearby coffee shop is nice. We stayed one night while visiting Napa and would highly recommend it. I’ll be back, even with a bit of street noise from the nearby major road.
