Hampton Inn And Suites Camarillo

It’s right off the freeway, yet the hotel felt quiet and safe. Local restaurants are easy to reach on foot, and the location is great. The rooms and shared spaces were very clean. Staff were helpful, breakfast had plenty of options, and the pool and hot tub were refreshing.

Parking costs $10, and the lot is shared with three fast food places. Most of the room’s outlets didn’t work, apart from the ones in the bathroom and by the study desk, so keep that in mind if you have more than one device. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned or stocked well: there were pee stains on the seat and hairs on the shower wall. Turning on the heater made the room smell like feet. I was there only one night, so I just put up with it.

The staff are a big reason this is my favorite hotel in Camarillo. On this trip, Patience at the front desk checked me in a little early, before 3pm, and had lots of suggestions for things to do nearby. The hotel is within walking distance of the outlets and close to some really great restaurants. Rooms are always clean, the complimentary breakfast isn’t too too bad, and the fitness area is well kept with a bit more equipment than most hotel gyms. The staff here are amazing!

I had a good experience when I checked in a week ago. The staff were very nice and friendly. We stayed one night, and breakfast was very good. There was also a sitting area and a gym.
