We keep coming back to The Olallieberry Inn and plan to return on our next visit. The staff are friendly and personable, the place is well maintained, and the town’s shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The old building has been updated while keeping its nostalgic feel, and there’s a music room with a record player and vinyl. Breakfast is served each morning, with the menu varying based on guest numbers. In the evening, there’s a sunset wine and charcuterie social hour where guests can meet the staff and one another, and the wine selection varies to suit your preference. On this rainy trip, the river behind the property was flowing, and cows grazed and wandered on the hills. It’s also conveniently located between Paso Robles for wine tasting and Moonstone Beach or SLO, if you want to visit Morro Rock and the nearby downtown beach area. We spent one day in each direction during our two-night stay. Looking forward to coming back!

A real B&B gem in Cambria. Anna was a lovely host, and the happy hour and breakfast were complimentary. We also enjoyed the front living area, with musical instruments, a turntable, and lots of classic vinyl to play. Highly recommend!

The price is the main reason I gave it 4/5 stars. At $270+ a night, the corners they cut really stood out. There were two of us, but we got two tiny, scratchy white towels like at Motel 6. The staff were cooking and hollering during breakfast while we ate. The remodeled, modern room didn’t have the older-place feel we came for, and the cookies were from a box. The place itself is cute, with nice outdoor seating, a good location, and okay food. At a lower price I wouldn’t have complained, but it wasn’t worth that much. I wouldn’t stay again unless it cost under $150.

From the peaceful sound of frogs at night to the fantastic breakfast, the whole stay was lovely. The beds were super comfortable, and the property was well cared for. We arrived to a cute place and a beautiful garden, where we enjoyed some delicious snacks and wine. The staff are kind and thoughtful about the little things. When we asked about the delicious chocolate coconut cookies from the night before, they made us two to take along. I was contacted beforehand and offered early check-in, which was so kind. The price felt well worth it, and I can’t wait to return.

The staff really made us feel like houseguests, and they were wonderful to chat with. The daily breakfast was delicious and changed each day. They also had an afternoon happy hour with wine and snacks, which we enjoyed in the beautiful garden or on the porch with its lovely view. The house is adorable, the rooms are clean and lovely, the spaces feel cozy, and the beds are comfortable. Olallieberry Inn is one of the cutest places I’ve been in a long time. Make it your go-to when you stay in Cambria!
