Sleep Inn & Suites Lake of the Ozarks

The breakfast was awesome, and I really liked that the juice bar stayed open until 10pm. They even had sleepy time tea, which I wish I’d known about sooner. The Priceline price was amazing, and the area was great, close to everything. The room was clean enough, though the first thing I found was someone’s poo on the toilet paper roll. That grossed me out. I could also hear the neighbor running water, and I’ll share a video of the noise. I’d have given it five stars if there’d been a balcony to sit on and enjoy the scenery. I settled on 4.5, then chose the higher star rating. I’d come back if I’m in the area again.

The front desk staff were friendly and professional, and the rooms were good. It’s in a great spot just off 54. My main complaints were the tiny refrigerator, uncomfortable pillows, and a showerhead that was awkward to use, with only one working setting. Nice place to stay, just a bit pricey.

The hotel itself was okay, but the service was something else. Sadie made me feel so welcome and listened to in a way I’ve never experienced at a hotel. When I was broken down in a strange state, away from home and going through a dark time, she showed me the kindness I needed to get through it. Thank you, Sadie. You’re the best.

I was extremely disappointed with our stay. We arrived at 9pm on a Monday, and the kids were told twice to be quiet in the pool area. I understand that. But at 12:08 am, the front desk lady was vacuuming right outside my room. I was appalled by how loud and rude she was.
