The owners are fair and an absolute delight. They recently bought the property after losing everything in the Paradise fire. Our cabin was nice and clean, and so were the campsites. Our family had a blast and can't wait to come back.

Once night came, all the kids started playing hide and seek, and earlier they’d played football and horseshoes with other campers. My husband played pool while the kids tried darts. We all loved the atmosphere and were welcomed warmly when we arrived, almost like family. I’d been a little apprehensive after reading reviews, but I called to check for a spot on short notice and was surprised when Renee the New Owner’s had two available. The bathrooms were clean, the owners were kind, and I have no complaints. It was an experience I’ll never forget. Best Memorial Weekend Ever.

The creek running through the campground is beautiful to listen to, and the location is great, close to my favorite swimming hole. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years. The tent sites are great, and I’ve stayed in all the cabin types. The small cabin, with lots of bunk beds, worked well for the teen birthday parties I used to have there. The bigger cabins sit right on the creek and have extras like stoves. Read the details before choosing the “rustic” cabin, since you should be ready to be more immersed in “the wild.” Staff are kind and friendly, prices are fair, and I’d highly recommend it for a fun camping getaway.

We arrived to find no picnic tables or firepit available, and the bathrooms were awful. They smelled strongly of cigarettes and body odor. Only two sinks worked, there was no soap dispenser, the stalls often seemed to be out of toilet paper, and they were filthy and wouldn’t shut or lock properly. We’ve spent many nights camping, and this was definitely the worst place we’ve stayed. We were charged $60 a night instead of the $46 listed on the website. When we asked the manager why, they replied in a snarky tone, “Phew, everyone seems to always mysteriously forget about the tow vehicle.” We have an 18' trailer and only towed it with our own vehicle. The manager was very rude, and it seemed like some shady things were going on around the campground. We were disappointed after relying on reviews. It looked like many campers lived there and were barely getting by, with RVs that seemed barely livable, covered in tarps and with flat tires. While our son was in the bathroom, a camper/resident asked to borrow his deodorant. We definitely wouldn’t recommend this campsite. We don’t usually write reviews, but this was awful and we wanted to warn anyone considering a stay.
