The room photos were misleading, and I wouldn’t come back. The beds were large but a bit uncomfortable, some towels weren’t clean, and the rooms smelled of cigarettes badly enough that our clothes picked up the odor. The heater and AC worked well. The location felt shady, especially with a big “no prostitutes” sign right at check-in. A man in the parking lot yelled at us and called us names throughout the trip, while the staff did nothing and didn’t ask him to leave. There were lots of fights in the lot, and the walls were so thin we could hear people fighting in nearby rooms and hear them doing certain activities.

My car broke down on the road, so I needed a place for the night in Long Beach. Sunshine motel was affordable, check-in went smoothly, and the staff were friendly and efficient. I’d recommend it and would stay again.

The room had a slight cigarette smell, but otherwise things were good. The people there were very nice and understanding about our dog.

Clean place, and the air conditioner works great. The walls are paper thin, though, and parking is lousy.

The beach is just 14 minutes away, and there are lots of places to eat nearby. I had a really nice stay at Sunshine Motel. The room was clean and looked just like the picture, and the housekeeper was wonderful. The staff were friendly too. Thanks for such a great experience, I’ll definitely stay again 💞
