Courtyard by Marriott Youngstown Canfield

The front desk service really made my stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Canfield, OH. The woman working Friday, 1/16, went out of her way to help with a request and was genuinely friendly and professional. That kind of customer service makes a big difference, and I noticed it. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and welcoming too. I'd absolutely stay again and recommend it.

I was here for work for a week in February, and now I'm back for another week in March. We were told this was the best hotel around, so we took that advice and didn't try anywhere else. The staff are so kind and helpful, and we've really enjoyed staying here.

As a Titanium Elite traveler, I appreciate the little things, and this team gets them right. Check-in was quick and straightforward, the welcome was warm, and the property, facilities, and rooms were clean. They also had a welcome gift waiting. The Springhill & Town Place Suites in front of this hotel seem to be owned and managed by the same great group. Thanks, team!

The hotel is beautiful and new, but housekeeping and the front desk need improvement. During my October stay, I had to ask the desk for tissues. After housekeeping came the next day, there was no floor mat or toilet paper, so I had to request those too. My colleague also had incorrect charges on his bill, and it took over a week to remove them. He was even accused of lying. The District Manager called to follow up on my survey, but was defensive from the start and didn't listen to me. That was a strange way to handle a negative survey. The front desk employee and the manager both promised 5000 points, but two months later I still haven't received them. My company won't stay here anymore. We'll use a Hilton property down the street.
