Pets stay free, which is a bonus. The manager was great, too. We arrived without a reservation after another hotel double-booked us, leaving us out of state and looking for a last-minute room on a holiday weekend. He found us a room and worked with us. I’d stay here again and would send family and friends. I’ve stayed at my fair share of Motel 6s, and this one was the best. Our room was super clean, and the king bed was amazingly comfortable. At most hotels the beds are so hard it feels like sleeping on the floor, but not this one. Thanks, Motel 6 Canon City, for being awesome.

We could sit outside and watch the sunset, and the kids’ playground has that 80s look I loved. The motel is right off the main road, with shops and places to eat all around, and pets stay free. The front desk was nice, my room was really clean, and the pool and hot tub were open. I was unsure after reading the bad reviews, but I’m glad I booked this quick getaway from Denver.

The grounds and dog area were clean, and our little dog Abby was quite happy there. Roland does an amazing job maintaining the property. This is what you’d expect from a Motel 6, but the staff and service take it over the top. Katy, Roland, and Justin were all kind and happy to help.

The front desk lady was very nice, but we checked out an hour after arriving. The place felt sketchy, old, and overpriced. Our toilet overflowed right away, and the people next door wouldn’t shut their door. It looked clean and smelled clean, but actually wasn’t. Very outdated, not worth it, and I don’t recommend it.

Justin, the owner, was super friendly and easy to talk to. You can tell he cares about the place and the guests. Our room was clean and comfortable, and everything went smoothly from check-in through checkout. One of the better Motel 6 stays I’ve had, and I’d definitely come back.
