Best Western Canton Inn

I booked two rooms at Best Western, and the first rooms we were assigned both had bedbugs. We reported it and were moved, but the replacement rooms had bugs too. That raises serious concerns about cleanliness and sanitation. Other problems included a shower that wouldn't drain, a broken refrigerator that squealed loudly all night, a door that wouldn't shut or lock properly, and an overflowing toilet that got water on our luggage and belongings. The stay was unacceptable for safety and sanitation. We paid for clean, working rooms and instead faced health concerns, lost sleep, and water damage to our things. I wouldn't stay here again, and I expect a full refund.

The breakfast was really good, with something for different tastes, and the staff were very nice and helpful. My staff and I had a great stay while working on a project in Canton. The motel is older, but the rooms have been nicely updated and were very clean, with comfortable beds. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Canton Texas.

I was there Thursday through Sunday for Canton Trade Days in October 2025, and they charged me twice for Saturday night. Corporate told me to contact the hotel, so I called and explained. The front desk clerk agreed it was clear I'd been charged twice, but said her manager had to approve a refund. The manager refused, claiming we'd booked a second room and left it unused. That wasn't what happened. We were charged twice for the same night. I wouldn't recommend the Best Western in Canton, TX.

The regular rooms feel like mini suites, and they look remodeled. Mine had clean sheets, no odors, a big screen TV, and working AC. The location is great, with food and fuel close by. Definitely recommend it for the price!
