Starlight Horizon

The grounds, outdoor games, and firepits made a lovely setting for our son's rehearsal dinner. Liz was helpful and arranged an early check-in for our caterers. We've stayed at Starlight Horizon a few times before while visiting family, and when our son chose Canyon Lake for his wedding, we knew it would be a great place for our out-of-town guests as well as the dinner. The cabins are roomy, modern, and well kept, and the outdoor areas are beautiful. I'd host another event here and will return each year with family and friends for a weekend getaway.

My cousins hosted my aunt and uncle's 70th wedding anniversary here, with about 50 of us attending, and I know of no serious problems. The people were incredibly kind. The AC handled the heat without any trouble, the cabins were nice and functional, and the pool was a fun place to splash. Bugs weren't a problem at all, and I got zero mosquito bites. My only critiques are minor: the knives were awful and need sharpening, and the toaster only toasted on one side. Whatever they're doing about the bugs, they're doing it well.

Loved staying at the cabins. The location is beautiful, and the staff were really responsive and helpful. We wished there were a few more towels. We didn't use the pool, but if you're planning to, I'd bring a pool towel. Would highly recommend staying here!

Liz helped us get several cabins arranged for our wedding group, and made the planning easy from the start. The cabins were roomy, clean, and kept in great shape, with outdoor space where our big group could spend time together. Everyone who stayed told us they were having a great visit. Starlight Horizon was such a find, and it went beyond what I expected.
