The Lakehouse Bed & Breakfast

The owner welcomed us warmly and was very accommodating from the moment we arrived, which made it easy to settle in and relax. The B&B is quaint and cozy, with lovely decor and thoughtful design that felt like home. The food was delicious and clearly made with care, and the whole place felt peaceful and intentional. We came to decompress and spend quality time together, and it was just right for that. We were there in winter during a storm, so we missed out on the pool and jacuzzi. That gives us a reason to come back in summer, possibly with other couples. It was a memorable way to celebrate a milestone birthday, and I couldn't have asked for a better place. I'd highly recommend it for a peaceful getaway. 10 out of 10.

The Mediterranean Suite was just as shown and described, spacious and nicely decorated, with a gorgeous king size bed. It was very clean and comfortable, a lovely place to unwind for the weekend. We especially enjoyed the location: close to town and the things we wanted to see around Canyon Lake, with water views from the courtyard that were perfect at sunset. Justin was a gracious, friendly host from the time we booked at The Lakehouse Bed and Breakfast. He responded quickly, sent a guidebook with restaurant ideas, sightseeing tips, and local attractions, and checked in often in case we had questions. Each morning brought a delicious homemade gourmet breakfast, and he even shared recipes when we asked. Thanks, Justin, for such an enjoyable weekend. We'd highly recommend this romantic getaway, 10 stars!

The fresh breakfast each morning was fantastic, and Justin was a great host. Our room was clean, quiet, and stocked with what we needed. We also liked the location: a nice lake view, with thrift stores, restaurants, and parks nearby, and Canyon Lake just down a flight of stairs. My wife and I had a really good stay. We'd recommend the Lakehouse to friends or family looking for a getaway, and hope to be back soon.

We saw an Osprey nearby, which I had to look up, and there were lots of birds around. The early sunrise over the still, flat lake was beautiful. We ate breakfast in the dining area overlooking the water; it was cold, so we stayed indoors, though when the weather allows there are three porch or deck areas to use. Justin was attentive and a knowledgeable host, with plenty to share about local history, places to eat, and things to see. Our room was clean and accommodating. We had a great time at the Lakehouse on Canyon Lake. Thanks for a nice stay.
