Holiday Inn Express Cape Canaveral by IHG

The rooms were quiet, functional and great, and we’d stay here again. We spent the night before a cruise and could leave our car parked for the whole trip, which was handy. The hotel is right across the street from cruise terminal 3. They used to offer a shuttle to other ports, but don’t anymore, so you’ll need an Uber or taxi for those.

We could watch the cruise ships arrive in the morning right from bed, since they gave us the port-facing room we requested when we arrived. We stayed one night before our recent cruise and absolutely loved the place. The park and cruise package made things easy. We left the car there, walked across the street to board in the morning, then crossed back to pick it up when we returned and headed home. Breakfast was good too. My only complaint is that it costs a little more. They know what they have with that location and charge for it, though I guess you can hardly blame them.

We picked this place for its spot directly across from Terminal 3, handy for Carnival Mardi Gras or Glory. You can walk across the street with your bags and skip Uber or Lyft. We found out on arrival that our ship was leaving from Terminal 6, about two miles away, but that was still manageable. The hotel is really nice, the rooms were clean, and the beds felt like a bundle of clouds after our six-plus-hour drive. I came prepared with my cleaning bag, IYKYK. The young man who checked us in was super helpful and nice. Good luck with your schooling, sir! The park and stay rate was great value. We could stay overnight, park for the whole cruise and get free breakfast before leaving, and save money compared with terminal parking. Everyone could grab snacks or breakfast before we waited at the terminal for our Guy's burgers. We’ll definitely return. We still want to try the pool, which looked very nice, the weight room and even the ice machine. We also said we’d come back a few days before a trip and stay at the Holiday Inn Resort next door, though I think it’s a timeshare property. Sorry for the long review, I’m a detailed person.

We stayed at this Holiday Inn Express for a week last week. The staff were friendly and efficient. Groups traveling together used the big open lobby to share food and talk, and it felt like a great room at home. The pool area is large, with lots of amenities to make things convenient for travelers, though unfortunately the weather was cold.
