The Baywood Bed & Breakfast

Mike welcomed us with remarkable hospitality from the moment we walked in. He even adapted his delicious breakfast casseroles for my gluten allergy. We came to The Baywood with my husband’s mom, my mom, and our adult kids, and it turned into our favorite B&B experience ever. Mike is an amazing host, and we can’t wait to visit again.

The private beach and those sunsets were wonderful, and the coffee was freshly brewed and left right outside our door. Mike and Sharon are such friendly people, and the breakfasts they served were something you won’t find elsewhere. We spent 3 nights in the Lighthouse Room and were very happy there. When we’re in Cape Charles again, we won’t stay anywhere else. We’ll come back soon, once the weather cools off. Thanks, Mike.

Stayed three times and never had a problem. The location is great, the accommodations are nice, and the host is friendly and delightful. Breakfast in the morning is freshly cooked and really good. Thank you, Mike.

Our first bed-and-breakfast stay turned out to be a great experience. The Lighthouse room gave us a balcony we really enjoyed, and breakfast came with good conversation. Mike is a wonderful cook too. I still think about the spinach quiche he made one morning. Mike and Sharon are incredible hosts, and the property is clean, with beautiful landscaping. It was so peaceful. We hope to come back.
