Dolphin Key Resort

The Tiki hut was a highlight, with good food and music, and the pool was warm and very clean. The room was spacious, but there was no closet, just a small rack with six hangers, plus a little refrigerator and no microwave. It’s a fun atmosphere and the location is close to everything, but I wouldn’t bring kids because the music is loud every night. People smoke throughout the grounds.

We like the area and the tiki bar feel, but after this third stay we won't be back. The room was dirty when we arrived, with sand all over the floor, and it was never cleaned during our seven days. The sheets stayed the same, and we had to track down our own towels and toilet paper. There were no coffee supplies either. Garbage only got taken out after we’d asked for two days, when the front desk attendant did it himself. Braydon (sp?) was pleasant and helpful, but the stay was very disappointing.

Tammy at the front desk is AMAZING. Her upbeat welcome really sets the tone as soon as you walk in. This was my second stay, and I waited until then to get her name before leaving a review. The hotel is older, but the rooms have been renovated and are modern and very clean. The beds are comfortable, too. I’ve got nothing but good things to say, and would recommend it to anyone, 10/10.

We spent a fantastic month at Dolphin Key and are already looking forward to coming back next year. Tammy at the front desk handled every request easily, and Braydon, the night host, was great as well. Tara was our main housekeeper and went above and beyond, while Jeff helped us with a very minor maintenance issue. ❤️
