Hampton Inn & Suites - Cape Coral/Fort Myers Area, FL

We had lots of room, large bathrooms, and comfy beds during our weeklong visit with family. Breakfast was really good, and the lovely woman in the kitchen was so kind and friendly. We’d stay again, though two things weren’t great. It took about 20 minutes for the hot water to heat up. Also, the pool and its area seem not to get cleaned daily, or maybe at all. Every piece of furniture had spiderwebs underneath, and everything looked dirty and dusty. It was obvious the area wasn’t cleaned enough.

Jersey went above and beyond to sort things out and make sure I was accommodated when I had a room issue. I really enjoyed my recent stay at this Hampton Inn. Excellent service.

The staff were kind and the location was great, but the experience as a whole was pretty bad. As a diamond member, I wasn’t greeted or offered points or a welcome bonus. When I asked, I was told they were out of everything and that she’d speak with the manager about giving me points. That never happened. There were ants around the building and in the room, mostly by the sink and toilet. I also saw some in the dining area, in the seating area, to be clear, not where the food was. The emergency exits were locked for three days and two nights over New Year’s Eve. I raised it on the first day and was told someone would be called. It was fixed, but the delay was far too long for a safety violation. I contacted Hilton hoping for a reply before posting, but they didn’t respond. I’m sharing photos and videos here. Hilton’s lack of transparency and response has pretty much turned me off the company.

Whoever handles hiring at this location, nice job. Lyza greeted me when I arrived and was friendly, courteous, and clearly eager to please. Elle was just as pleasant and friendly, and then I met Kobe, who was the same. I stayed here several weeks ago, and the facilities were perfect. Thank you, Al.
