Fairfield Inn & Suites Cape Girardeau

Breakfast was always well stocked, and the staff were friendly. Everything was clean, though the room carpet felt a little sticky, like shampoo might have been left behind. The walls were thin enough that I could hear people in the next room all the time, and housekeeping only did a minimal job during our stay. The bed was okay. The pool room was so cold I needed a jacket to sit there comfortably.

The standout moment was at breakfast: someone arrived after the serving hours, when the food had been put away, and the front desk staff went back to the kitchen and brought him something to eat. You don’t see that every day. The front desk and dining staff were all friendly and helpful, and Amber was especially nice and helpful. James, the GM, also sorted out a gift certificate issue right away when we checked out. The room was spacious, fresh, and very clean, and we were more than happy with the service. The breakfast buffet was beyond what we expected, with bacon, scrambled eggs, waffles, egg and sausage biscuits, oatmeal, and cereals. Did I mention bacon? I don’t drink coffee, but my picky wife was impressed. I’d highly recommend this place.

The breakfast service was nice, and the rooms and amenities were great. The place looks, feels, and even smells brand new. An outstanding stay.

I’ve been here several times and highly recommend it. The location is good, the rooms are great, and the showers are spacious. All the amenities are very nice, and the staff are excellent, always going above and beyond.
