We were in room 502 from Wednesday through Saturday morning. The room was comfortable and mostly clean, but when we woke up there was a stain on the ceiling above the bed that looked a bit like blood. Water was also running constantly in the bathroom. I reported both problems that morning and was told the connecting bathroom had an issue. Given how nice the hotel is, I expected them to fix it or offer a credit or another room. I raised the complaints with two different people, but neither seemed to listen.

Our stay was amazing, apart from the shower. I really didn’t like that it didn’t close all the way like a traditional shower, so it got very cold.

The room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and pillows, and the view of the river from the room was beautiful. The location was really convenient for downtown shopping and restaurants. The decor was tastefully done in neutrals, though I personally prefer a bit more color. At check-in, the attendant was accommodating but didn’t smile or seem especially welcoming. Checkout was a different experience: both attendants greeted us with smiles and thanked us for staying. I’d definitely recommend the Riverview.

My wife and I were in the area to visit her cousin, and the room was spacious enough for us to visit comfortably. The hotel was new, very nice, clean, and comfortable. The casino was a bonus, with free play and a $15 food credit for a veteran. We were especially impressed by the young lady working the early evening shift on July 11th, 2024. When we came back from the casino, she greeted us and checked that everything was all right with our stay. She went above and beyond. We’ll definitely stay here again.

We’ve been here since Friday, and housekeeping hasn’t touched our room once. The trash wasn’t changed, there were no fresh towels, used towels weren’t picked up, the beds weren’t made, the floors weren’t swept, and I had to ask for toilet paper. This is not acceptable. After I complained, a young housekeeper came by and said, “oh we did your room yesterday.” I beg to differ. Nothing was touched except by my husband and me. Don’t lie to my face. I do not recommend this hotel, period.
