Sunrise Motel

We stayed off season, so it was quiet. There’s a deck where you can sit and watch the sunrise. Clean and basic.

A great spot at a reasonable rate, in a less busy part of the south end of Long Sands. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and you really feel like the staff are looking after you. Shirley, Tracy, and everyone else were some of the nicest people we’ve stayed with, because they actually care about your visit. They suggested places to eat and things to do, and I even saw the owner turning over rooms. This is the kind of place where you feel like family is taking care of you. The staff are second to none, and I’ll be back.

Shirley, one of the managers, gave us so many helpful ideas for places to go and things to do. We’re grateful for that and send our thanks to her and the rest of the crew at Sunrise Motel. Our room was great, but the setting was the real draw, right on the water. We stayed a couple of days and got up early enough to see two amazing sunrises. If we’re in the area again, we’ll definitely stay here. Highly recommended!

The ocean view is hard to beat, even though power lines get in the way of a clear photo. We loved our stay and wished we had more time. The room was very clean, with a nice efficiency kitchen and a clean bathroom. We like it here more than the other hotels nearby, and we’ll definitely return. If you’re fussy, you can pay more somewhere else.
