Angel Rock Waterfront Cottages and Vacation Homes

We stayed in Cottage #30, right on the water, and spent our evenings having dinner on the deck and watching the sunset shimmer across the river. Mornings were lovely too, with sunrise views and fresh-brewed coffee outside. There’s plenty to explore nearby, and the cottage’s handy reference book points out places to visit. Angel Rock, in Cape Vincent, NY, has a range of cottage options, all very clean and well maintained. We had a wonderful time, whether relaxing by the river or heading out to see things.

Our first cabin stay was a great one, thanks to Megan and Kristen, who were wonderful when we checked in. The modern cabins had fantastic river views and were immaculate. When we checked out, Kristen answered all our questions and helped us book dates for next year. Thanks for a lovely visit, Trish & Nick.

I was really let down by the place. For almost $900 for three nights, it looked completely different from the online photos. The property seemed abandoned and needed gardening. The cabins were tiny and packed close together, with no space for a fire. We even had to beg for toilet paper. A total disappointment.

We stayed in a cozy one-bedroom cottage that was just right for my fiance and me. It was clean and well stocked when we arrived, and the whole stay at Angel Rock felt peaceful and relaxing. We skipped the pool because of the weather, though it looked clean and well maintained, so we hope to use it next time. The location worked well for shopping and attractions, with Clayton and other river towns about a 15-minute drive away. There were also little farm stands and wineries nearby. We’ll definitely come back.
