Holiday Inn Express & Suites Houston NW - Cypress Grand Pky by IHG

The manager’s response leaves out what actually happened. We weren’t “sneaking off.” I explained that we were responding to an emergency at the gas station, but traffic had completely blocked car access. I didn’t come back with shopping bags, and the person who was with me didn’t reenter the area because they had gone to deal with the emergency we rushed to. We weren’t clearly told the parking rules meant the car could be towed immediately, and we weren’t given a fair chance to move it first. The way this was handled felt needlessly aggressive and punitive, which is the concern I raised in my original review. I expected a manager to communicate clearly and try in good faith to resolve things before taking that step. That didn’t happen for us. On November 28, 2025, I briefly parked at the Holiday Inn Express at 21410 Fairfield Place Dr, Cypress, TX because of a medical emergency. The manager assumed I was using the lot for the nearby shopping center and had my car towed. I had to pay $310.33 to get it back. Nobody tried to contact me, check what was going on, or take the circumstances into account. The lack of professionalism and compassion during a medical emergency was deeply concerning and reflects poorly on what I expect from Holiday Inn Express and the IHG brand. Thank you for responding, but your account doesn’t accurately describe the incident.

A handy place to stay if you’re going to shop at the Houston Premium Outlets. The hotel has clean rooms, a roomy lobby and dining hall, and lots of parking. There were bottled water, towels, and toiletries in the room. It’s a really nice Holiday Inn.

The breakfast was excellent, and staff on every shift were friendly and ready to help. The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with shopping and restaurants easy to reach. Memorial Herman Cypress Hospital is nearby too.

When we go to concerts on this side of town, this is a good place to stay so we don’t have to make the drive home late at night.
