Economy Inn

The room was spotless, the mattress comfortable, and everything seemed well maintained. I've paid more at chain hotels that weren't kept this well, so I left very pleased. We only stopped because we were traveling in bad weather and the location worked for us. I was skeptical enough to ask to see the room before paying, and was surprised by how good it was.

The rooms are basic, but clean, with a good bed, shower, and AC. The overnight lady is easily the prettiest woman I've ever seen ❤️. She was also quick and easy to deal with. When I mentioned a problem, it was fixed right away, which makes me want people to support the business. A pretty decent place.

The mattress sloped down at the edge, so I had to sleep in the middle, and the beds were uncomfortable. There was mold around the bathtub, and they charged me for a roll of toilet paper. I also watched what looked like a drug deal in the parking lot. Upstairs, a child ran and jumped around while someone slid a chair across the floor for hours. This place is a joke. I wouldn't recommend it or come back.

I was charged $85 for just five hours, and then told every hotel in the area checks guests out the same day, with no next-day checkout. I'd recently moved from Houston to Lafayette for my Amazon job and thought a hotel across I-49 would be convenient. I arrived around 4:55 a.m., expecting to rest before my 7:30 shift, then pay for the rest of the workweek after I got off. But after work and getting food, I returned to find checkout had been at 10:30 that morning.
