I wouldn't pay more than $80 to stay here. The staff were mostly pleasant, especially the polite, seemingly genuine front desk receptionist, and the cleaning staff were nice too. Breakfast was a simple continental spread, but enjoyable enough. The rest of the place was a letdown. The room I had, a jacuzzi suite, was shabby and poorly kept. There was mildew and staining in the tub, the toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months, and the bathroom door wouldn't shut or lock. The adjustable curtains had no remote, just wires hanging out of the side. The bed was awful: the mattress was about half the thickness of a normal one, and I could feel every spring and stitch. There was a strong smell of ash and cigarettes in the second- and third-floor halls. The pool labeled “heated” wasn't warm at all. When I asked, the front desk said it had been broken and wasn't heated. Some of the windows around it were busted out of their frames, too. I contacted the general manager and got no response after more than seven days. Unless smoke, dirty rooms, mediocre food, and misleading advertising sound fine to you, I'd stay somewhere else.

We'd driven all day and had already unpacked the car and the cats, so we stayed, but the room was filthy for what ended up costing nearly $200. The floor was wet and sticky, the place looked shabby, the shower faucet was barely attached to the wall, and there were rusty vents in both the room and bathroom. Flies were buzzing around, along with a spider and a cockroach. I booked through booking.com and won't use them again because the fees weren't all disclosed. The room was listed at $108, then we learned about a $35 charge per pet, bringing the stay to $178. If I'm paying $70 to make sure my cats don't cause any trouble, the room should be in excellent condition. We won't stay at Country Inns again.

It was hard to sleep with the interstate traffic roaring right behind the hotel. The tub was stained and the toilet had mildew all over it. The water for a shower was barely lukewarm, and when I told the staff, they were rude and didn't seem to care. Staff were often missing from the lobby and instead outside the front of the building, smoking with several other people. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you want even a warm shower.

The second night in our double room, we woke up itchy and saw bite marks. There were four bed bugs in the bed, in room 224, and it ruined what might have been a good stay. The hotel itself was quiet and peaceful, and the breakfast was basic but hot. They offered us a different room and said to contact the manager about compensation. I'm still dealing with the itching, and now I'm very cautious about booking hotels.
