Four Seasons Residence Club San Diego, Aviara

The villas have recently been refurbished, and we loved them. The staff are as friendly and helpful as usual. Thanks to Alex, Avery, Sean, Martina, and everyone else. The Lucid experience and the e-bike put it over the top. We enjoy the resort, its familiar atmosphere, and everything it offers. It was even better when the Park Hyatt hotel was a Four Season, and we could use the tennis court, pool, golf course, restaurants, and other amenities. It’s close to the flower field, the state beach, and the outlet, with La Jolla and San Diego attractions farther out. Walking around the Batiquitos Lagoon is so relaxing. The resort feels magical, especially at Christmas.

We spent a week at the Four Seasons Aviara and found it beautiful and comfortable, with excellent service. Whenever we needed something, we just asked and it was taken care of almost immediately. The location is great too, about a 15 minute drive from the ocean and close to plenty of amenities.

Michael made a frightening situation much easier for our family. My dad had a stroke in the lobby while staying here, and since I live out of town, I needed to check on things remotely before I could fly down, especially whether his wallet had been left behind in the chaos. Michael stayed communicative, empathetic, and genuinely helpful through every step. He brought calm, clarity, and support at a time that could have felt overwhelming. I can’t thank him enough for turning an otherwise traumatic experience into something manageable. If you’re Michael’s manager, please give this exceptional man a raise. He deserves it.

The dining room looks nice, which made the evening’s service all the more disappointing. Our first drinks took a while, and the second round was made but left at the bar until we asked about the delay. The waiter hadn’t checked on them. We waited 90 minutes for our main courses, and the food itself was just okay. We won’t be back after this experience.
