Hampton Inn Carlsbad-North San Diego County

This was my second stay at this Hampton Inn, and I’m very pleased with it. Chris at the front desk was friendly and helpful, and even the cleaning staff were nice. One of them asked how my stay was while we were in the elevator. My room was very clean and had a nice view from the window, facing the airport side. I’ll definitely ask for that side again.

I spent a week here and would definitely stay again. I travel a lot for work and pleasure, and this was the best breakfast I’ve had in two years. The choice and quality were great every day, and the personalized service made the experience even better. The hotel is very clean, and the staff provide excellent, classy customer service. I left several pieces of clothing in the closet. Manager Christopher Long helped right away, and the clothes were returned to my home at no charge. A lovely finishing touch to an already great stay.

The breakfast was one of the best free ones I’ve had, with lots of fresh choices: cereal, juice, waffles, fruit, coffee, bagels, bread, eggs, and yogurt. A good breakfast is much appreciated, so keep up the good work. The staff were friendly, and the neighborhood was quiet. Our room was clean, modern-looking, and more spacious than average, with a microwave. It’s 10 minutes from Legoland. We’ll come back if we travel to the San Diego area again.

We needed to walk across the street to the terminal at 5:30 AM for a 6 AM flight, and the location made that easy. The room was good value for what we expected and suited our needs. What really made the stay a pleasure was the customer service. We dealt with three different front desk team members over 24 hours during our stay in early October, and every one of them was helpful and friendly. It felt great to be treated like a valued guest. Thanks for a great short stay.
