The free breakfast was good, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. Everything was clean and well kept, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. I stayed for a long weekend over Memorial Day, and the place gave me what I needed for a good price. It's a little outside town with not much nearby, which is why I took off a star for location, but getting in and out was easy, especially with a large vehicle or trailer. I'd definitely stay again.

The owners are really nice, though the room has some shortcomings. Road noise is substantial, and the AC is loud. Without the AC on, the room gets very hot. I'd come because of all the great reviews, but found mysterious stains on the sheets and towel, and the pillows were very yellow. They look washed, but those stains seem to have been there a while. I wouldn't recommend staying more than one night.

The owners were friendly, and it was a great value. It feels like a dorm room, which worked perfectly for me and my boys on a weekend trip to see the caverns. Honestly, I wouldn't bring my wife because she would've picked it apart. My guess is it was built to house oil field workers during the 2017-2019 oil boom.

The cats wandering around the grounds were a highlight, and the inn is close to both parks. We stayed over Thanksgiving while visiting Guadalupe and Carlsbad national park. It’s a basic, no-frills place. The highway is pretty loud, though after a while it fades into background noise.
