If you want an inexpensive hotel close to the beach, I’d keep looking. I’ve been here nearly eight weeks for work. Manager Nicole has been very fair, but some of the other employees and owners haven’t had the same social skills. The rates feel too high for the age of the rooms and the lack of cleaning. I ended up buying my own supplies to scrub the floor, walls, doors, and shower. I tried to be understanding about their staffing problems, but after tonight I feel I need to say something. Security deposits are normal, and I don’t object to them in general. But over a $150 difference in the deposit, they want to keep me out of my room, where my children are staying. Given the staffing and cleanliness issues, think carefully before booking. Hope you have a great summer. After writing this, I changed the sheets. Two tiny dried-up dog turds slid out from under the bed.

Jolie at the front desk made check-in really easy. She was friendly, helpful, and had a great attitude, with customer service that stood out. We had a great stay at Pirates Cove Hotel. The location is perfect, the rooms were clean, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming. It’s a comfortable spot near the beach.

My boyfriend and I brought his two kids over Easter weekend, and we had a great time. The pool was pretty much ours, and it came with towels, so I didn’t have to keep going back and forth to the laundry. There’s a laundry on-site too, which was handy. We really liked the Lazy Pirate next door. It was pricey, but delicious. The room was pretty small, though it reminded me of going to the beach as a kid. Kris and Britney at the front desk were wonderful and had everything we needed. We really appreciate how much you helped make our trip great!

We were very happy I reserved this room. It was friendly and helpful of them to let us check in early. The room was really nice and clean, one of the biggest motel rooms we’ve rented that wasn’t a suite. It had a tub and shower, fridge, microwave, coffee, shampoo and conditioner, lotion, and makeup remover, and it smelled great. It’s by the pool and close to the Lazy Pirate.

I was here for a business trip and found the hotel really relaxing, with a great vibe. Jolie made sure everything was in order and that my stay went smoothly. She was kind and professional, and made me feel right at home.
