Holiday Inn Express & Suites Carrollton West by IHG

There are hotels closer to my son’s house, but this is where I’ll stay whenever I need a room in Carrollton. He lives in town, and I’ve been here twice now. Both stays were exceptional. The staff are welcoming and polite, and they make you feel at home. Once I had to leave before the doors were unlocked in the morning, and a staff member was making coffee for the lobby and was so polite.

I’ve stayed here several times, and it’s always been clean and quiet. Monica welcomed me with a big smile, both on the phone and when I arrived. Matina was freshening up the rooms and was just as kind. She got me extra towels, offered me a bottle of water, and checked if I needed anything else to enjoy my stay. My room was clean and smelled fresh. Breakfast was good, and the coffee was freshly brewed by the cup. Monica and Matina make you feel that your presence matters and represent the hotel well. Whoever hired them made a great choice. Thanks, ladies!

We’re utility power workers staying here to keep the power on during the ice storm, and we shouldn’t be treated with such disrespect. The front desk girl was rude and on a FaceTime call instead of working. During check-in she never looked me in the face and stayed on the phone talking about me and my reservation rather than asking me questions. Maybe instead of wondering why we couldn’t check in the night before, consider that we were working through the night. Do your job like we do ours to keep the power on. Customer service is nonexistent.

The breakfast was amazing every day we went, and the room service was phenomenal. They used a room spray that smelled so good we asked them to use it again. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and professional. Great place to stay!
