The price felt a little high for a room with just the basics, though prices around here seemed high in general, so I can’t blame the hotel too much. The room itself was clean and comfortable, pretty standard, and the bed was decent. I slept fine, which was all I needed. Public areas from the lobby to the hallways looked tidy and modern. Check-in after 5pm was quick and smooth, and the front desk staff greeted me with a smile. I’d consider staying again for the convenience and friendly service if I needed a place in Carrollton.

Just so-so. There were a couple of flies and a stink bug in the room. The bathroom looked dated, the shower had stains, and the coffee machine was crusty with mineral deposits.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the front desk agent was welcoming and friendly. But kids on the floor above me ran, jumped, and made noise until 1:30am, and I barely slept. The hotel knew about it but couldn’t get the parents to control them. Several guests were also complaining about losing sleep. At $185, the price seems a little high for the area.

I woke up to a 72° room because the AC didn’t work through the night. When I called management, she wouldn’t make any adjustment and just talked over me. She was very rude and left me aggravated. My son also stayed here last night and said his room had one towel, no washcloth, and no soap. Hampton is next door, and everything there was perfect. The price is more competitive there, too. This Holiday Inn isn’t worth the trouble. Be prepared to stay in a dump.

After 42 years of staying in hotels, this is one of the better ones I’ve been to. The room was spacious and the AC was great, since I like it cold when I sleep, unlike at most places I’ve stayed recently. Check-in was easy and the employees were friendly. The military veteran discount also made the price reasonable.
