Spark by Hilton Modesto

The rooms were clean and tidy, with comfortable beds and effective blackout curtains. Breakfast had excellent options too. It's a very acceptable budget hotel. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is that some standard hotel basics were missing, like any cups in the room.

The rooms were clean, breakfast had good choices, and coffee was available around the clock. Andrea, Marisol, Perla, and the rest of the staff were super friendly and know how to give excellent customer service. Thank you! Highly recommend, and we'll definitely be back.

Finding a decent hotel for a concert in Modesto was harder than expected, but after looking through many hotels and hundreds of reviews, this one stood out as the best. The rooms were clean, with updated furniture, the staff were friendly, breakfast was free, and there's a small convenience store right in the lobby. This hidden gem is where I'll stay again if I come to Modesto.

For a late-night stop on a long road trip, I'd absolutely stay here again. My room and bed were clean, and the front desk staff were very nice and quick with check-in. This was my first Spark stay, but I knew the brand's level and it met my expectations. It's a relatively clean place if you need a hotel without spending much, though it's bare bones, in a weird location, and too budget focused for a business trip. There were no cups, coffee maker, or similar basics. It was the only Hilton-branded hotel with a room available when I flew in, and it's not bad by any means, just not what I'd suggest for a business traveler compared with other Hilton properties.
