The hotel and room were well maintained, and the staff were friendly. It’s a fair price, with lots of restaurants around and a casino with a cinema next door. The location beside the freeway in Carson City is convenient and makes the trip more enjoyable.

The rooms were super clean, and the staff were friendly. Restaurants and a casino are nearby, and the drive to the ski resort takes about 45 minutes. I’m a skier, and this was my first time staying farther from Tahoe. I don’t regret it, and would recommend the hotel as a more economical option for Tahoe skiers.

At 9:30 am on Sunday, 01/18/26, a White lady wouldn’t make my free breakfast, saying she was the only one working the front lobby and breakfast area. I could see lots of people at the front counter and guest area. She was rude, inconsiderate and unprofessional, and I felt somewhat discriminated against.

Steph looked after us at the bar, and she was amazing. The food was tasty, too. We stopped for a night on our way to Lake Tahoe, and the renovated hotel was really nice. The lobby and lounge have plenty of seating and tables, plus there’s an outside fire pit, lawn and patio games, and lots of board games for family or friends. Our room was super clean, and I was especially glad to see new, clean carpet, which can be hard to find even in higher-star hotels. I’d definitely recommend it.
